Rohit K Bharadwaj is a highly motivated and talented individual with a passion for machine learning and data science. He is currently pursuing an MSc in Machine Learning at MBZUAI and is a Mitacs-GRI'21 scholar. He is also in his fourth year of undergraduate studies at BITS Pilani, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science with a minor in Data Science. Rohit has a diverse range of experience in the field of data science and machine learning. He is currently a Research Intern at York University, where he is working on cutting-edge research projects related to machine learning and deep learning. He has also worked as the Head of Application Development for the Students' Union Technical Team at BITS Pilani, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining various applications for the university. Rohit has also completed a summer internship at IGIB, where he worked directly under Dr. S. Ramachandran, Senior Principal Scientist, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, Delhi, India. During his tenure, he successfully built a Word Galaxy system of entities from vitiligo abstracts using natural language processing (NLP) techniques. He implemented word2vec and GloVe algorithms on the dataset, after fully pre-processing the dataset using Python Regular Expressions, NLTK Library, Gensim Library, Bigram model, Lemmatization, Stop word removal, Modularity analysis on the graph, and worked with ForceAtlas 2 Layout Algorithm in Gephi. Rohit has a strong technical background in research, machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and Python. He is a skilled data scientist and has experience working with various tools and technologies such as Word2Vec, GloVe, NLTK Library, Gensim Library, and more. Rohit is a self-starter and is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.
